Shredder Knives from China

Shredder knife’s life has relation with the waste plastic need to be crushed.  Tough plastic needs high hardness knife. If you use normal knife, it may cause serious broken of knife itself. Sometimes, there are metal scraps, like nails and copper, in the waste plastic, which also can shorten the life of the knife. So before we put the waste plastic in the shredder, we need to separate the metal scraps inside.

Correct selection of knife’s materials is a key to maintain high efficiency for the crush process and keep the knife longer life. 9CrSi and Cr12MoV are not so hard, but can be used to broken the soft plastic with low cost. SKD-11 knife is very sharp with high hardness and high toughness, is widely used to break harder plastics. Tungsten steel material is also hard and has strong corrosion resistance, which can be used to crush fiber-containing plastic or corrosive material. DC-53 knife has high wear-resistant ability, so it is normally used to break Silicone Material.
